The challenge:
The MCH Group asked us to produce a grand inaugural ceremony for the new Herzog & de Meuron exhibition hall on the opening day of BASELWORLD. The challenge was to create a show that would amaze and enthral over 1,000 guests and attract international media coverage.

Our approach:
Guests were expecting a spectacular multimedia show to match the novelty and grandeur of the architecture. We produced an unparalleled fusion of lights, sounds, colours and designs – an all-encompassing futuristic work of art that culminated in a live show with the singer Lana del Rey. The communications campaign included a trailer and radio competition in the run-up to the show as well as media reports, press photos and videos after the event.
